This reusable chuck includes spring loaded 3-piece jaws that are held together with a rubber O-ring. Also known as a “Speed Chuck”, this device can be used repeatedly and makes it easy to move the chuck along the cable length while still providing the ability to apply tension force to the strand when necessary. Whether used by hand or with a stressing ram, this tool can provide leverage to help with the removal and reinstallation of unbonded ½” cables.
